• Sanitary sewer system collects water from inside our homes and businesses and carries it to a treatment plant where the wastewater is cleaned before being released into rivers and oceans.

• Storm drains are located along streets and in parking lots and flow directly to rivers and oceans without treatment

• "Greywater" is water from sinks, showers, etc that does not contain "poop"

• "Blackwater" comes from the toilet.
