We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of The workspace. You will perform a variety of engineering tasks as directed by your supervisor.

A Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.

The goal is to meet the standards of instruction while exploring engineering and technical careers and interests.

 

Requirements

• Knowledge of engineering and technological careers

• Skilled with conflict management and working with others in a professional manner

• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices

• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work

 

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and regulations

• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly workspace

• Be respectful of peers and not be a distraction to learning. This means not being loud or disruptive while others are completing assignments.

• Manage time wisely and compete assigned tasks within the allotted time. There WILL be opportunities for free time to explore tasks on your own. Be sure to complete assigned tasks before doing personal projects or personal entertainment.

• Assists supervisors and managers requests as if they were the teacher.
